Susan is our resident STAMPDOCTOR and if you have ever seen her in action you know she knows all the shortcuts, tips, tricks and suggestions for maximizing the paper crafting tools you have or want to have in the future.

Class Descriptions

LUMIERE DEMO
COST: FREE

Our very own StampDoctor, Susan Coster will set up in the classroom to DEMO the many ways you can use Lumiere paint. It is a versatile medium and it is what we have used recently on our own shop aprons and shirts. WE will have a Lumiere CLASS in the afternoon so come to the FREE demo and see if you want to join us and make something to show off at the convention.

STAMPING 101
COST: $10.00

LIMIT: 8

Highly informative class not only for the beginner, but also for someone who is self-taught. Great for clarifying questions and building your confidence! No matter how long you have been stamping you will learn something new.

Lots of organizational tips and tricks are shared.
ALL supplies furnished.

CARD STRUCTURE

COST: $15.00

LIMIT: 8

This class is especially good for the brand new card maker "wanna be". Recommended as the next step after STAMPING 101. Limited to 8 people in a small class will allow our teacher to walk you through the steps of simple card structure. Learn how to cut cardstock and vellum, proper folding techniques, and get tips for cutting your paper to layer on cards. Please bring a paper cutter/trimmer, adhesive, ruler, pencil, bone folder and all other consumable supplies will be furnished and you will complete four cards.

BASIC TOOL CLASS
COST: $15.00

LIMIT: 8

This is the class to come to if you are trying to figure out how to use all of the tools that you already have or see others buying and using in the card clinics.

Learn the StampDoctor's tips and tricks for using all kinds of tools. Tools can make your life as a crafter easier or just gather dust in the drawer.

Learn how to use brayers, eyelet setters, screw punches, a Fiskars paper cutter, corner rounder, brads, the HOME PRO tool, ATG tape dispenser, deckle ruler, stamp positioner, corrugator and more.

You will also learn more about the Dove Blender Pen, the Splendor Blender Pencil, Colored Pencils, Watercolor Pencils, Watercolor Crayons, Watercolor Brush and Masking.

In fact, if you have some of these already or some other tool that you need to learn how to use, please bring them along. She will gear this class to what YOU, the students need to know. Susan is a wealth of info as most of you already know.

ASIAN AFTERNOON

Attendees will bring their tool kits and card making supplies and share their favorite ORIENTAL, ASIAN or ORIGAMI ideas for cards or craft projects. We recently received an awesome supply of Mizuhiki cords, oriental and origami papers. We want you to help us inspire each other in a FREE PLAY DAY AFTERNOON!
You will only pay for any paper or embellishments that you need. Space is limited. Be sure to label your supplies with your name.

CARD CLINIC
LIMIT: 20

Sign-Up: Class Limit is 20 and sometimes fills up days or weeks in advance. Signing up for weeks in advance is allowed, but please call if for some reason you need to cancel. The name on the waiting list just might be yours!! 864-295-2929

What to bring: MUST HAVE Paper Trimmer - Ruler – Tape or Glue - Bone Folder –Scissors – Pencil. Other items in your Basic Tool Kit are helpful but optional.

How it works: Susan will have 8 - 12 card ideas each week. Each table of 4 will work on the same card/project. You simply pick a seat at a table and see the card/project you will be working on and then come to the register and choose your papers, ribbons, brads and other embellishments and start a TAB of your purchases. Then, go have fun making your project. Once your table has finished, you will begin a new card/project. Each person receives 10% off all regular priced purchases on the day of any Card Clinic or Class. At the end of your Clinic, you simply go to the cashier and pay your accumulated TAB. And, of course, SIGN UP for the next Clinic!!

Cost: The Card Clinics are FREE with a minimum purchase of $10.00 worth of supplies.

      If you buy less than $10.00 we will only charge you the difference for a total of $10.00.

PS: Basic stamping knowledge is required for taking the Card Clinic, as this is not a CLASS. You will learn lots of new tips, tricks and techniques, but some stamping experience and/or a Stamping 101 Class is strongly recommended before taking a Clinic.
