Now you can make a wonderful piece of ART Jewelry to wear at the convention.  This class is taught by Linda with the permission of it's original designer, Nina Bagley.  You will construct a mini-book of aged copper, mica and paper to be strung on a necklace.  This "Booklace" will tell in small scale a delicate story in transparent detail, forming tiny collaged image-encased picture frames that you design.  You will explore the use of eyelets as "paper re-enforcers" for miniature mica, copper mesh and paper pages that sandwich images and words.

You will leave with new Metalsmith skills.  Bring your own eyelet tools, Basic Tool Kit, 10-14 small/tiny photo-copies (1 to 1.5 inch squares) of pictures or art and some of your favorite words or sayings (typed or handwritten).  You may also bring your own favorite assortment of large-holed beads, dried flowers or other embellishments.  Stop by to see the store sample...most likely around Eleanor's neck!!
