Wow, what a wild convention weekend!  THANK YOU all !!!  For your support and enthusiasm.  We really appreciate all of you.  It was really great to see you again and exciting to meet all of the brand new folks who discovered us for the first time!  It’s easy to spot new customers because it’s a dead giveaway when folks walk in the door and their eyes get real big and their jaws drop wide open.  We left here quite exhausted and tired at 12:30 AM on Saturday night and managed to get to the Convention for a few hours on Sunday and saw even more friends there.  Rabon survived his first ever convention weekend and did a marvelous job as MASTER OF CEREMONIES and gave away prizes every hour on the hour ALL weekend.

It gets a little crazy around here during CONVENTION weekend so I want to invite all of you out of town stampers to PLEASE come back when we can really have the time to SPOIL YOU!

We had lots of winners and ALL of their autographs are on a board on display at the check out counter in the shop except for one of the winners of the GRAND PRIZE.  Beverly Simpson was the first name drawn but she was not present at 10PM on Saturday night and so she won a  $50.00 shopping spree and at the present time she has not signed our board.  We kept drawing names until someone was present and the other Grand Prize winner was Sandy Nolan.  Congratulations to ALL of our winners from everyone here at Stamps and More by Eleanor.

IMPORTANT NEWS
All of the CONVENTION WEEKEND entries will be entered into this Saturday’s MONTHLY DRAWING at NOON.  If you were in anytime this month you still have a chance to win either a $100.00 or $50.00 shopping spree.

We learned a lot about the many ways you can use the CASTAWAY pad from Auntie Amy’s store manager and demo artist… Jennifer, and we will be sharing those ideas with you in our demonstrations and classes from now on too!

We learned a lot from the different vendors and we listened carefully to what excited you and for what you have already asked for.

It helps for you to learn new ways to use existing and brand new products. We could tell right away that you loved the look of the ANGELINA FIBERS and….

GOOD NEWS

We have already got the ANGELINA FIBERS in the store and now have an expert DEMO artist on hand to show you even more ways to use this fusible fiber.  This is one of the easiest ways to take your card making to the next level.  Next time you are in for a visit, ask my brand new husband and brand new stamper, Rabon to show you how to use it.  He went to his first ever convention and got intrigued with this product and has already been making some awesome cards using the die cut machine and the fibers.  He does a great job with the demo too!

The other HOT item everyone was raving about was a simple technique using a round sponge dauber with the new line of DISTRESS INKS.  We have the full line of 24 colors of DISTRESS INKS already in stock now and have lots of the daubers on order and expect them to arrive on Tuesday.  Let us know how many you want and we will save them for you.  I have already placed another BIG order to arrive after that one because these are already being reserved in record numbers.

YES!!! We have ordered MORE….MORE….MORE…. of the Ranger ACRYLIC DABBERS. Thanks to LOVELY LINDA for her great demoes and our own StampDoctor, Susan we have almost completely sold out of all 36 colors.  More are on the way and it would be helpful if you just gave us a list of the colors you want …or in the case of a few customers…just tell us to order 1 each of ALL of them and maybe we can satisfy the demand for this great new product.  The cards that Susan made with just three colors and one HERO ARTS bold image were spectacular.

If you attended or perhaps even missed our in store Convention Weekend  DEMONSTRATIONS featuring the microscope slides, Castaway, Distress ink pads and alcohol inks, our staff teacher Linda Standart will be teaching a class on Saturday, October 7th aptly named

"Mixed Media and Microscope Slide Pendants

You will gets hands on experience using the above mentioned products and create THREE unique pendants ready to wear or give as gifts.  All supplies furnished $25.00.  Limit 12 Sign up soon.  Please Note that the CLASS TIME for this class is moved to starting earlier than usual …at 9:30 AM to 12 NOON to give everyone time to finish before the regular CARD CLINIC starts at 1:00 PM

We have just gotten in our OCTOBER stamp of the month selections from GREAT IMPRESSIONS.  Snowmen galore and the cutest winter cards you have ever seen.  Come in early for the best selection.  You may even get this email before we have had a chance to call everyone who has already reserved some of them because they are pulling all of the orders as I am typing this.

Our STAMPINGTON & Company order was lost in “UPS nowhere land” before the convention and is still missing but they sent us a replacement order today.  This one was missing the TAKE TEN Autumn edition and I know a lot of you were waiting on it, too.  It was reshipped today and sent three-day air at their expense so we will have them next week. If you are on the reserve list we will save one for you and call you when they come in.  In the meantime if you are a fan of their stamps take a peek at their website and see all of the newest designs.

We have some of ALL of the following three collections in stock NOW.

Imperial Cargo by Lynne Perella  (formerly known as the Acey Duecy Line)
Winter Tapestry by Lynne Perella
Yuletide Elements by Maureen Blackman

If you want any of these new designs, let us know or better yet drop in and see them for yourself.

ALSO in this order were more copies of BEYOND PAPER DOLLS and  SOMERSET WORKSHOP 2 , these both sold out really fast and everyone who bought them loved it!

ALSO…An order arrived right BEFORE the Convention but AFTER I sent out the last email …so you may not know about it.  We got in a big shipment of HANKO papers and Mizhuiki CORD.  The best selection of Asian origami papers and colorful cords that we have ever had.  We even got some of their very popular cat stamps, too!  If you like the Asian or Oriental look and do origami you really ought to come see these beautiful papers.  If you look closely in the HERO ARTS catalog you will see some amazing textured cardstock used in the many samples.  We have that cardstock in several colors now too!

12 New Twinkling H2O colors are due to start shipping Oct 1.  Call to reserve yours today.  We already have a long list and our order will be in soon after they start shipping.

We have some exciting new classes added to our schedule taught by Melanie Evans, Diana White, Linda Standart and Kim Hellams.  Be sure to check out the class schedule regularly.  We will be adding more classes.

Thanks,
Eleanor
