Friends, The
Convention has come and gone and it was great to see everyone again!
We hope you had a good time while you were here.
It was heartwarming to hear from many of you about your experiences
here and about our marvelous staff.
It really is hard to spoil you when there are 60 or 70 people in
the store at one time but we all tried.
Be sure to mark your calendars for next year. Heirloom has scheduled
the convention for September 6 and 7 of 2008. Stay tuned for more
details as the dates get closer. FIRST,
let us congratulate Pam Shoemaker from Greensboro, NC for winning the BEST
FURNITURE double mini unit on the last drawing of our convention weekend.
She was very excited and is planning another road trip here soon to
pick it up.
We
have a SIGNATURE BOARD on display in the shop signed by ALL of the other
happy WINNERS of the hourly door prizes that were given away during the
convention weekend.
Door prizes and giveaways were graciously donated by our vendors,
and we appreciate all of them too!
SECOND
CHANCE DRAWING…this Saturday at NOON,
for all of the people who came in during the convention!
ALL
OF THE NAMES FROM THE CONVENTION DOORPRIZE DRAWINGS still are entered in
our end of the month drawing coming up this SATURDAY at noon.
So plan to be here if you can.
If you are the first name drawn and PRESENT you will win a $100.00
gift certificate.
If you are not present you will still win a $50.00 gift certificate
and we will keep on drawing names till someone is present and THEY will
win the other $50.00 gift certificate.

Shipe won the card contest in August and we will be announcing the
September winner following the Noon drawing.
The entries get better every month!

The packages for the October contest are ready now!
Entries are due back by October 15th. Every
day is a cardmaking day here at Stamps and More by Eleanor, but the
official NATIONAL CARDMAKING DAY is Saturday, October 6th.
In honor of the official holiday we invite you to join us and
celebrate. We will be having our famous CARD
WORKSHOPS all day long on that day so please sign up to reserve your
seat. Pick
the morning session (10:00–12:00) or afternoon session (1:00–3:00) or
BOTH. Just
let us know.
Come and celebrate with us.
If you have another card making project, for example your Christmas
cards…. call and reserve a seat and join in for a day celebrating what
we all love to do. The
raffle for the Storage Furniture that we gave away during the convention
generated a lot of excitement even though it was a last minute thought and
only ran for three days. Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
We have gotten a lot of comments from folks who could not get by
here during that time and be a part of the contest.
They were really disappointed.
So to give everyone a fair chance to register for these great
prizes, we are announcing a NEW RAFFLE DRAWING to be held on
SATURDAY, December 15th.
Starting
immediately, we will be selling tickets and will be RAFFLING away over
$700.00 worth of BEST STORAGE FURNITURE for your craft studio. Drawing
will be held at NOON on December 15th, 2007. FIRST
PRIZE - First name drawn, whether they are PRESENT OR NOT
will win the big prize.
The DOUBLE MINI is valued at around $400.00 complete with shelves
and INCLUDES tax.
Winner may pick up the unit anytime at their convenience. The
next TWO prizes will only be awarded to people who are present.
So we will continue to draw names until someone shouts “I’m
here!” SECOND
PRIZE
is a SINGLE MINI maple cabinet complete with an assortment of white 1 inch
and 2 inch drawers. THIRD PRIZE is a CUBE CABINET for desktop use and holds four 1 inch and two 2 inch drawers. As a BONUS… to anyone who purchases a raffle ticket we will also extend 10% OFF the total price of any furniture ordered between now and Christmas. (Discount does not apply to the freight charged on the order.) We have the Raffle Furniture ordered. Remember the SCOR IT workshops are a bonus if you bought it from us. Just want to remind you about the HERO ARTS CHRISTMAS CLASSES WITH DIANA, on Oct. 26 and 27. The Saturday class is almost filled and but there is still plenty of room in the Friday class. Don’t delay, her students always give us rave reviews of her class and this last class was no exception.
