September 2006 update from Stamps and More by Eleanor

We are in the “getting ready for Convention mode” right now and a lot is happening. Please take a look at our CLASS SCHEDULES and don’t miss out on some of the exciting classes this month. Diana White is returning to teach an all day HERO ARTS CHRISTMAS class on Thursday Sept 14^th. Our own staff teacher Linda Standart will be hosting many SCOR IT sessions this month and if you own this wonderful tool you really should make time to come to one of our SCOR IT WORKSHOPS. The projects are getting better every week.

Just arrived:

We just got in the samples from “LOVELY LINDA” for the classes she will be teaching here at the store on Friday Sept 22 and Saturday, Sept 23. For those of you who do not recognize the name… it belongs to Linda Crofton and her numerous fans across the nation fondly refer to her as LOVELY LINDA. (Not to be confused with the two LINDA’S who are already on staff here.) The samples are absolutely awesome and I signed up 5 people while I was unpacking the samples. She also sent me some photos for the website …but they just don’t do the class projects justice and if you live near here please try to come in and see for yourself. We now have two samples of the WORLD OF COLLAGE IN MINIATURE here at the store and we invite you to come in and see them. “Lovely Linda” will have tons of embellishments to choose from in making your own personal collage and also encourages you to bring little pieces of your favorite art or trinkets to make this project truly special! Call ASAP the seats are filling up fast.

There is lots going on and we are busy unpacking boxes of new goodies to show you. You can check out our website for a complete list of all the new stuff we got in this week. Look for the link on the left side of our front page that says NEW ITEMS. We have a great selection of Twinkling H2O's including the newest set and finally we have extra storage trays for them that make it easier for you to use these wonderful watercolors. The long awaited and newest editions to the DIE CUT CENTER have arrived. We have a wonderful new alphabet set of 3” tall chunky capital letters. I am sure you will all have a wonderful time creating with these. Remember, if you buy your paper here you can use the die cut machine free. Consider joining or renewing your membership in the Accu Cut club.

We have a good supply of advance CONVENTION TICKETS right now and they only cost $5.00 for a two-day pass. If you wait and buy a ticket at the door you will pay $5.00 per day. Call to reserve your tickets even if you don't pick it up till the FRIDAY before, at least we will know how many to have on hand. I would hate to see you disappointed.
