Hi Friends,

My, oh, my, where has the time gone. Spring has sprung and we are knee deep in new stuff here in the shop. We have been so busy I haven’t had time to write and thanks, JoAnn, for missing our emails and emailing me to remind me to tell ya’ll what is going on here at Stamps and More by Eleanor. I appreciate that!

If there is a recession going on it is happening elsewhere. We are grateful for all of you telling your friends about our shop and popular Card Workshops and keeping us so busy we sometimes don’t get to say good morning to each other until 3 in the afternoon. The billboard on I-85 has introduced us to many new customers from all over the country. Thanks folks for stopping in to see us!

We now have the best selection of CUTTLEBUG embossing folders and die cuts that we have ever had. The last several orders that arrived were almost all reserved for customers when they arrived and we had very little to put on the shelf. The WIZARD SPELLBINDERS NESTABILITIES are arriving weekly now and we will soon have all the preorders caught up. We actually have a few on the shelf now too! The NESTABILITIES can be used with your CUTTLEBUG machine and will amaze you at what can be done with these die cuts. We have numerous samples in the store too and you will be able to try it yourself in our CARDS AND MORE WORKSHOPS.

Speaking of the CUTTLEBUG, if you still do not have one of these amazing machines you will really want one when you see the new designs that will be coming in the Fall and Winter. We are taking PREORDERS for these designs now and invite you to preview them in the shop and give us your wish list. We will be placing a HUGE ORDER at the first opportunity to order these and as most of you know Provo has a HOT and very much IN DEMAND product these days, and these designs will certainly be as popular if not more so than any of the other designs so far.

HERO ARTS
The first SPRING designs have come and gone and we are awaiting the reorders now. BUT, The second round of new SPRING designs have been ordered and we are expecting all of the new things in about a week. Take a look on their website www.heroarts.com and give us your wish list. We will be glad to reserve them for you.

GREAT IMPRESSIONS
The APRIL stamp of the month program has a MOTHER'S DAY theme, and it has already proven popular by selling out in a just a few days and we just got more in today. In case you are not aware of it, we have a link on our home page that will allow you to look at not only this months STAMP OF THE MONTH board, but ALL of the previous months and see the cards and instructions too! We have a lot of the stamps in the shop and what we don’t have we can get on the next order. Presently we are ordering about every week or so. The link is on the front page on the left side so take a look. Some of you bought one or two of the stamps and wish you had bought some of the others, so it is not too late to get it to add to your collection. Remember during the current month the featured STAMP OF THE MONTH is HALF price with the purchase of any of the other featured stamps on the sample board.

VERSES
This company only has word stamps and lots of them. We just got in a huge order of lots of new verses. Get Wells, Birthdays, and more. CHRISTMAS VERSES are arriving now too. It is never too early to think ahead!

CLASSES

This Saturday afternoon is the monthly TAG ART CLASS, from 1 – 3 PM. If you want to learn the popular RANGER ink techniques popularized recently by Tim Holtz, you won’t want to miss this chance to get hands on experience. FRIDAY CARD WORKSHOPS START AGAIN APRIL 11, 2008

The OPEN STUDIO has proven so popular on Fridays that we have decided to have Linda work on those days and offer the CARD WORKSHOPS on Fridays from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon starting tomorrow, April 11. Call ASAP if you want to join us. 864-295-2929. We have several already signed up just from mentioning it today. We will still be doing them as usual on Tuesday afternoons, all day on Wednesdays, and the first and third Saturday of every month.

Card Workshop Schedule
Tuesday          1:00 - 4:00
Wednesday    10:00 - 12:00 and/or 1:00 - 3:00
Friday              10:00 - 12:00
1st Saturday of each month 10:00 - 1:00
3rd Saturday of each month   1:00 - 3:00

If you have ever admired the samples in the shop then you will want to come to the CARD WORKSHOPS, because that is where they all begin. Learn to use the products we sell including the CUTTLEBUG, and NESTABILITIES while you make some beautiful cards and only pay for the paper, ribbons, and embellishments (i.e. consumables) that you use on the cards. Try… before you buy and have fun doing it! Just be sure to bring your Basic Tool Kit, The workshop is FREE as long as you spend a minimum of $10.00, plus you get 10% OFF of everything you buy on the day of the class.

IF you are new to stamping you can still participate in the FREE CARD WORKSHOPS, but I would encourage you to take the STAMPING FUNDAMENTALS CLASS on April 19^th, in the morning. We will have a CARD WORKSHOP in the afternoon on the same day.

NO word yet on DIANA’S Class schedule for the next two months…she will be scheduling some appointments and will have to wait for all of that to fall into place before we can set some more dates. For those of you who are busy putting your watercolor techniques to good use, you can certainly use the FRIDAY morning class times to get together and SHARE AND PLAY with your own ART IMPRESSIONS stamps if you want and stay all afternoon if you like. Call a friend and make plans to create some watercolor masterpieces.
