March 2008 Hello Friends, This
month has really flown by! I
thought spring had sprung with all of the daffodils blooming in our yard,
but it was short lived…temperatures plummeted this morning.
Luckily the sun is shining bright as we get ready for a new month.
Things
have been hopping here all month. The
new CUTTLEBUG embossing folders, dies and storage binders have been coming
in steadily and “flying out the door” just as fast. Every time we get an order in, it is almost all pre sold
before we finish unpacking the box. I
increased the orders and still haven’t had enough to send out an email
blast and let you know the new products were here.
The early birds did indeed get the worm in this case. We do have some of the new products on hand now, as well as
lots of new beautifully done sample cards to show you using the new
embossing folders and die cuts. Come
in and see the new items and leave us your wish list and you too will be
called when the shipments come in.
We have begun to get in some “NESTABILITIES” from Spellbinders. We have had lots of requests for this line and finally tried
some thanks to a little help from one of our longtime customers.
Thanks Cathy! This will allow you to use your CUTTLEBUG in even more
creative ways. Linda is
working on some samples as I type and you will be amazed at what is
possible with these sets of cutting and embossing dies in different
graduated sizes. We are taking wish list requests for our next big order now.
It is a great alternative to collecting the oversized circle and
oval punches and very cost effective in the long run. They sell for $24.99
for each set and you will “love them.”

The February GREAT IMPRESSIONS stamp of the month was by far the
most successful for us, ever! We
have been in their program for almost three years now and have had to
order this set of stamps five times in one month.
We just got in more yesterday and have "plenty" in case
you happened to miss it. The
MARCH stamp of the month is also here now and with an Easter theme it is
really cute and just in time for your spring cards.

have good supply again. This Saturday, March 1st, we will have another one
of our popular SATURDAY CARDS AND MORE WORKSHOPS from 10:00am - 1:00pm.
There are a few seats left right now, so call ASAP if you want to
attend. We have room for 24.
If you want to stay longer you can certainly stay and play because
there are no other classes planned for the afternoon.
Next Saturday morning, March 8th, is an ALTERED
BOOK CLUB meeting and they are open to interested people who would like to
share their love of ALTERED ARTS and become a member. Just talk to Linda here in the shop if this interests you. Right after the ALTERED BOOK CLUB meeting, Linda will be
teaching a technique TAG ART class featuring a lot of the Ranger and Tim
Holtz products and more! Lots
